Forget: #THENEW10 PROMOTE: #THENEW20

This post will be rather short.  It is only written to explain the purpose of this blog.  First of all, the objective is to promote the removal of Jackson off the $20 rather than Hamilton off the $10. The second objective is to profile American female patriots.

In regards to the first objective: It's very simple:

  1. Andrew Jackson=slave owner.
  2. Alexander Hamilton=abolitionist

Now that the U.S. Treasury is thinking about removing Alexander Hamilton from our $10 bill, and one of the front runners for his "replacement" or "addition" is Harriet Tubman (the founder of the Underground Railroad, an abolitionist, and amazing woman)...

Why in the world would they leave a slave owner on the $20 bill and take an abolitionist off the $10 bill?

SOLUTION= Take the slave owner (Jackson) off the $20 and add Harriet Tubman (or another female patriot) to the NEW $20! But leave Hamilton alone!  Let America proudly represent its Founding Father, who was an abolitionist.

PROMOTE: #THENEW20
